The Healthy Habits Program
Empowering children ages 5-9 to take an active role in their health and wellbeing
The Healthy Habits Program introduces children to the concept of germs and the importance of healthy habits. Through book readings, informative talks, and engaging activities, the program focuses on “keeping well kids well.”

About the Program
This one-hour program is currently available to schools near Appleton, Wisconsin. Each session is led by Heidi Meadows, a retired critical care nurse and co-creator of George the germ.
More than just prevention
While germs are a key focus of this campaign, the big-picture goal of the Healthy Habits Program is to help children grasp the importance of caring for themselves.
By teaching children how to keep themselves as healthy as possible, we emphasize that they play an important role in their own wellbeing now and their future.
